About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Site Operations Director to lead logistics operations for the Power Systems Business Unit (PSBU) in Fridley, Minnesota. This highly visible role will oversee a large-scale distribution and warehousing operation, driving safety, operational excellence, customer delivery performance, and long-term supply chain strategy while strengthening organizational capability and site culture. Relocation support will be pursued for qualified candidates. The Logistics Site Operations Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for a complex logistics network, including a 400,000-square-foot distribution center and four offsite warehouse locations. Leading approximately 160 employees through multiple layers of leadership, this role will oversee warehouse, transportation, and packaging operations while executing a multi-year strategy focused on on-time delivery, inventory optimization, capacity expansion, material flow, safety, and continuous improvement. Success requires a visible, people-first leader who can build strong partnerships, strengthen culture, integrate logistics more deeply into site operations, and deliver exceptional business results. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Lead and integrate a high-performing logistics organization while strengthening site culture. Build credibility quickly by immersing yourself in the team, understanding the existing culture, and creating an environment where employees feel valued, engaged, and accountable. Drive initiatives that improve material flow, optimize warehouse operations, and strengthen overall supply chain effectiveness. Develop talent and build organizational capability.   • Drive operational excellence across a complex distribution network. You will be responsible for leading warehouse, transportation, and logistics operations across a large-scale distribution environment while ensuring exceptional performance in safety, quality, delivery, inventory management, and cost. Success requires leveraging operational metrics, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize performance and consistently exceed customer expectations.
  • Balance strategic vision with flawless execution. This leader must be able to manage day-to-day operations while simultaneously developing and executing a multi-year logistics strategy. You will identify opportunities to improve capacity utilization, material flow, transportation effectiveness, inventory optimization, and overall network performance while ensuring operational commitments are delivered every day.
  • Develop strong relationships and collaborate across the enterprise. Success depends on your ability to partner effectively with customers, suppliers, carriers, manufacturing operations, business leaders, and other key stakeholders. A strong background in logistics, warehouse operations, transportation management, carrier performance, trade compliance, and supply chain integration will position you for success. You will continuously evaluate transportation modes, carrier effectiveness, inventory strategies, and warehouse processes to drive the optimal balance between customer service, inventory investment, and total logistics cost.
  • Navigate complexity and drive results in a rapidly evolving environment. This role requires the ability to manage competing priorities, large-scale operational demands, fluctuating business requirements, and significant growth initiatives.
