About The Position
Barfield, a subsidiary of Air France Industries KLM Engineering, is seeking a dedicated Logistics Candidate to support its Shipping & Receiving department. The role involves reviewing, verifying, and scanning computer records for incoming shipments, typing work orders, and creating work packages. Additionally, the candidate will prepare items for shipment by inspecting, packing, and using FedEx or UPS software, including creating and applying labels.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- One to three months experience with using FedEx and UPS software.
- Related experience and/or training.
- Able to lift 30 pounds.
- Able to maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards.
- Able to read, write and communicate in English.
- Be able to type.
- Be computer literate.

Responsibilities
- Receive packages from FedEx, UPS, and other Vendors on the dock.
- Compare incoming unit(s) to customer’s documentation (verifying part number, serial number, quantity, etc.).
- Create Work Orders.
- Scan in all receiving documents.
- Verify required documents are in work order package.
- Identify proper packaging for shipments.
- Check for correct labeling on shipments.
- Prepare shipments for delivery through FEDEX / UPS systems and take to dock.
- Make records of all shipments.
- Close out Work Orders after shipment.
- File invoices.
