About The Position

The Logistics Routing Analyst works under the direction of the Logistics Manager and is responsible for the oversight of analyzing, establishing, and maintaining delivery routes for the entire K&M footprint. Furthermore, assist supply chain team with scheduling and dispatching internal transfers, and reporting on time, space, and fuel utilization.

Assistance with scheduling and dispatching internal transfers
Reporting on time, space, and fuel utilization
Mapping and direction assistance for drivers
Communication with Operation leads
Review and approval of customer applications for routing
Procedure updates for peak performance and consistency
Development and maintenance of routes for productivity and efficiency
Review of fuel consumption, mileage, and delivery times metrics
Utilization of reporting for time and space maximization
Regular route monitoring and adjustment

Responsibilities

Assist drivers with mapping or direction needs in order to service customers efficiently and safely.
Regularly communicate with Operation leads for continuous improvement in all routing.
Review and approve customer applications for proper routing daily, including account flow and open orders without sequence report
Assist in dispatching and scheduling internal transfers of inventory
Keep procedures up to date; ensure peak performance and department consistency.
Oversee the development and maintenance of routes to maximize productivity and overall efficiency
Review metrics on fuel consumption, mileage, and delivery times to identify areas of opportunity
Utilize reporting to maximize utilization of time and space
Monitor routes regularly and adjust as needed based on demands and trends
Perform other duties as appropriate and assigned.
