About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst in support of the JSIL TECH Center program in Huntsville, AL. The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for performing system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance, and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems. This role involves controlling the efficient flow of goods, services, and information from origin to customer placement to meet requirements. The analyst will plan, schedule, and manage the movement of material from receiving or warehouse to production, develop raw material and scheduling requirements based on engineering specifications and production schedules, and manage material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams. A key aspect of this role is ensuring the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, which encompass maintenance, supply, transportation, and logistics plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years’ experience; additional four (4) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
• Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required.
• Frequent use and application of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
• General application of concepts and principles.
• Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives.

Responsibilities

• Performs system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems.
• Controls the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
• Plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production.
• Develops raw material requirements, scheduling requirements from engineering specifications, production schedules, and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
• Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes. Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans.
