About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Logistics Principal to lead Diminishing Manufacturer Sources Material Shortages (DMSMS) hardware and software support. The position manages logistics engineering and life-cycle support services, customer services, and the logistics product support team. It also provides Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), interim support requirements development and execution, and life-cycle cost analysis support services. The role manages end-of-life (EOL) and end-of-sale (EOS) parts, IT items, and software tracking within PMW-110 programs to support timely integration of software updates and renewals. The lead works with engineers and subject-matter experts to identify solutions for obsolete equipment and software, and periodically presents findings to stakeholders and senior leadership. This is a full-time, onsite position at Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
Ten or more years of logistics experience.
Familiarity with EOL/EOS cycles, hardware and software tracking, provisioning, purchasing, vendor relations, and logistics engineering.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must have an active SECRET clearance at the start of the position.

Nice To Haves

Direct experience with PMW-110 systems, including intermediate knowledge of ADNS and CANES programs.
Experience with QStar, REMEDY, and CMPRO.
Knowledge of other functional areas of life-cycle logistics and supply chain management.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong technical and quantitative skills using MS Excel and other MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

Track hardware and software for PMW-110 systems using QStar and produce weekly and monthly status reports.
Interact with vendors to determine EOL/EOS status for program-related components.
Conduct program spares planning.
Prepare a monthly software obsolescence report for Logistics, Engineering, and the Program Office.
Prepare for and host monthly DMSMS meetings.
Manage PMW-110 EOL/EOS parts, IT items, and software tracking to support timely integration of software updates and renewals.
Manage logistics engineering and life-cycle support services, customer services, and the logistics product support team.
Provide ILS, interim support requirements development and execution, and life-cycle cost analysis support services.
Work with engineers and subject-matter experts to develop solutions for obsolete equipment and software.
Present findings periodically to stakeholders and senior leadership.
