About The Position

Linde Inc. is seeking a Logistics Planner in Tonawanda, NY. This role involves managing bulk gas inventories at customer sites using planning tools to ensure reliable, safe, and cost-effective supply. The planner will develop and execute daily distribution schedules, communicate risks, and drive corrective actions. Responsibilities include upholding Quality Assurance and regulatory requirements by initiating Quality Incidents and Near Misses, responding to customer calls, driver communication, and satellite messages. The role also entails adjusting operational plans based on inventory levels, operating status, outages, customer demand, and available resources, as well as engaging with drivers and supervisors on logistics matters and providing Fleet Effectiveness reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an associate degree with more than two years of logistics or supply chain experience.
  • Strong data management and efficiency analysis skills that support accurate planning and performance improvement.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, supervisors, and internal partners.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards in all logistics planning and operational decisions.
  • Adaptability to work evening or overnight shifts in a dynamic environment while maintaining service reliability.
  • Ability to identify efficiency opportunities, correct data inaccuracies, and support continuous operational improvement.
