About The Position

The Logistics/OPS Specialist will report to the Company’s Operations Manager. This is a part-time position responsible for ensuring supplies, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely. The role involves processing orders and overseeing the cycle of order fulfillment for stores and e-commerce.

Requirements

A minimum of one year of operations or logistics experience and/or related experience and training.
Proven and on-going ability to control costs through consistent improvements and optimization.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention-to-detail with a bias toward time management/efficiency mindset.
Competency and working knowledge of quality assurance and quality management principles.
Ability to effectively prioritize, problem solve, using sound judgment and procedural mindset.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another.
Arrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay.
Receive products and coordinate delivery.
Prepare loads for shipment.
Take steps to avoid quality control issues.
Ensure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels.
Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to ensure established deadlines are met.
Oversee inventory of goods and vehicles.
Continually review freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible.
Streamline shipping and transportation processes.
Manage appropriate inventory levels of centralized warehouse by ensuring the timely placement of orders.
Coordinate receipt of incoming shipments and continuous refinement of inventory management process.
Lead Ops in fulfillment and production of standard prep items such as tea dose bags, e-commerce orders, and proprietary syrups.
Communicate essential information to cross-functional teams in a clear and timely manner, maintaining confidentiality where appropriate.
Serve as point-person for all major purchasing decisions including procuring new vendor relationships.
