The Logistics Operator manages incoming and outgoing product receipts at marine facilities, where product may arrive by rail car, truck, barge or ship, pipeline, or tank-to-tank transfer. The role balances customer demand with storage capacity and terminal capabilities, monitors overlapping asset schedules, and makes timely decisions to mitigate conflicts and keep product movements safe and efficient. Decisions can have significant financial impacts for customers and ONEOK. The position works 12-hour shifts to accommodate real-time operational changes and performs duties with minimal direct supervision. The Logistics Operator tracks product movement schedules and inventory, coordinates with terminal operations and maintenance, and communicates schedule changes to the Terminal Operator Lead and Marine Logistics Analyst. The role uses Mainsail/Mainmast, ODS, and other company systems to manage product flow and records. It verifies storage capacity and inventory, handles movement documentation, and checks gauge paperwork from operations and third-party inspectors for accuracy in customer billing. The position also gathers environmental data for entry into the QMS and may participate in internal, customer, or governmental audits. As time allows, the role performs terminal operator duties, including operating pumps, sampling and gauging products, completing valve lineups and tank changes, supporting truck and rail operations, inspecting and maintaining equipment and facilities, and participating in emergency response. The employee must follow safety policies and procedures, including System Integrity Plan and OQ requirements. Duties may include DOT-covered pipeline operations, maintenance, or emergency response functions. Travel may be required as business needs dictate; driving a company vehicle may be assigned based on duties and requires the applicable driver’s license.
