About The Position

This role involves the physical movement and handling of inventory, including large and heavy products like windows and related materials. Responsibilities include pulling and staging orders, loading trucks, operating forklifts, and ensuring the safety and organization of the warehouse environment. The position requires adherence to safety procedures and may involve overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules.

Requirements

Ability to manually lift, carry, and move heavy and oversized items
Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
Experience with completing equipment pre-checks
Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and required PPE
Ability to work closely with team members
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules

Responsibilities

Pull and stage orders from inventory, including large and heavy products such as windows and related materials
Manually lift, carry, and move heavy and oversized items throughout the warehouse and loading areas
Load trucks and trailers with product, ensuring all items are secure and properly positioned for transport
Handle physical inventory movement, including stocking, restocking, and organizing materials in designated areas
Verify all pulled orders match required manifests before loading to ensure accuracy
Perform a full ‘360 Walk Around’ to ensure loads are balanced, stable, and safely secured for delivery
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed for moving heavy products
Complete equipment pre-checks for forklifts, trailers, and company vehicles before use
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment to support safe operations
Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and required PPE at all times
Work closely with team members to complete physically demanding tasks efficiently and safely
Perform additional warehouse duties as needed, including continuous movement of inventory and materials
Work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules as needed to meet operational demands
