About The Position
The Logistics Operator role involves the physical movement and staging of orders within a warehouse environment. Key responsibilities include pulling and staging inventory, manually lifting and moving heavy items, loading trucks and trailers, and operating material handling equipment like forklifts. Accuracy in order verification and load securing is crucial. The role also emphasizes maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety procedures, and working collaboratively with team members to meet operational demands, which may include overtime and weekend work.
Requirements
- Ability to manually lift, carry, and move heavy and oversized items
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Ability to complete equipment pre-checks for forklifts, trailers, and company vehicles
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and required PPE
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules as needed

- Experience with staging orders from inventory, including large and heavy products
- Experience loading trucks and trailers
- Experience performing '360 Walk Around' checks for load security

Responsibilities
- Pull and stage orders from inventory, including large and heavy products such as windows and related materials
- Manually lift, carry, and move heavy and oversized items throughout the warehouse and loading areas
- Load trucks and trailers with product, ensuring all items are secure and properly positioned for transport
- Verify all pulled orders match required manifests before loading to ensure accuracy
- Perform a full ‘360 Walk Around’ to ensure loads are balanced, stable, and safely secured for delivery
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed for moving heavy products
- Complete equipment pre-checks for forklifts, trailers, and company vehicles before use
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment to support safe operations
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and required PPE at all times
- Work closely with team members to complete physically demanding tasks efficiently and safely
- Perform additional warehouse duties as needed, including continuous movement of inventory and materials
- Work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules as needed to meet operational demands
