About The Position

The Logistics Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials and finished goods between manufacturing and warehouse facilities to support production and distribution operations. This role ensures inventory integrity through precise product handling, transportation, ERP system transactions, and adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies. The Logistics Operator prioritizes work to meet operational demands, operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, prepares shipments for distribution, and maintains detailed documentation. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety and quality, reliability, teamwork, and the flexibility to cross-train and support multiple operational areas while upholding the company's mission, values, and customer-focused culture.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify product and lot numbers.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse and inventory management systems.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possesses good interpersonal skills engages others in a positive manner.
  • Raises issues and concerns promptly.
  • Documents and presents work in a clear and concise manner.
  • Possesses knowledge of the computers and software required to accomplish the Responsibilities of the job

Responsibilities

  • Transports materials to and from manufacturing and warehousing sites.
  • Obtains forklift certification, loads and unloads deliver vehicle and stages.
  • Cross-trained in different areas as required.
  • Ensure order integrity and transfers products physically as well as virtually in system.
  • Accurately pulls products needing to be transported, attention to detail.
  • Building and shrink wraps pallets for distribution.
