The Logistics Operator II is responsible for safely moving product using powered industrial equipment. This role involves filling orders from tickets according to set quotas, operating powered industrial equipment while following safety policies, and verifying incoming and outgoing product. Responsibilities also include stacking loads properly, correctly rotating product/materials, and manually filling orders using pallet jacks. The operator will identify product by description and quantity, remove it from storage, and transport it to the staging area, while also checking for picking accuracy. General housekeeping duties, completing daily powered equipment inspection forms, and reading customer orders to determine items to be moved are also key aspects of the role. Additionally, the operator will sort and place materials on pallets, mark materials with identifying information, and record amounts of materials received or distributed. Counting items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to Company standards is required. Specific tasks related to a scrubber include filling it with water, keeping it in good condition, emptying its contents, cleaning the trap when needed, and leaving it empty at the end of the shift. All other duties as assigned are also part of the role.
