Requirements

  • Minimum GED, High School Diploma or equivalent degree required
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum of six (6) months’ work experience within a GXP environment
  • Experience with MARC or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Basic proficiency in all functions of Microsoft Office
  • Requires capability of becoming Forklift Certified; current certification is a plus
  • Position requires continuous lifting and/or moving lightweight material (5-25 lbs) and frequent lifting or moving average weight material (25-50 lbs)
  • Requires ability and willingness to flexibly work between the operational hours of 6:30am - 5:00pm (EST) four days per week (Monday - Thursday), with overtime on weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Requires up to 5% domestic travel

  • current Forklift certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct accurate and timely distribution of pharmaceutical products, medical devices and diagnostics, raw materials/components, samples, and literature.
  • Perform picking, packing, receiving, cycle counting, put away, and shipping of inventory.
  • Maintain relationships with distribution and customer service areas, follow regulatory and safety procedures, and perform assignments with necessary technology and equipment.
  • Understand, troubleshoot, and resolve product flow issues using MARC and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Actively engage in updating or creating procedures.
  • Assist the Distribution Supervisor with resolving procedural inconsistencies and work with SMEs to provide suggestions and/or corrections.
  • Develop, evaluate, implement, and monitor quality management strategies to avoid, exploit, reduce, or transfer issues.
  • Lead investigations of all deviations to process and document findings in accordance with Quality Management System.
  • Take responsibility for identifying and solving issues with management.
