About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Logistics Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will assist in coordinating, tracking, and monitoring Road, Ocean, and Air shipments to ensure timely and efficient transportation execution. This includes customer and carrier communication, transportation problem-solving, and maintaining accurate shipment records. Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year transportation/logistics experience is required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 6 months – 1 year warehouse or logistics experience, preferred
• Communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating, tracking, and monitoring Road, Ocean, and Air shipments to ensure timely and efficient transportation execution.
• Customer and carrier communication.
• Transportation problem solving.
• Maintaining accurate shipment records.
• Assist in coordination of export/import shipments.
• Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments.
• Track and trace all shipments.
• Update and maintain Transportation Management System(s) – SAP.
• Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports.
• Obtain data to assist in analysis on performance trends.
• Proactively identify problems to management.
• Answer and resolve basic billing questions when needed.
• Prepare client invoice packets.
• Confirm rates with carriers.
