About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Logistics Operations Coordinator for their Weekend Shift (Thursday – Sunday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm). This role is crucial in managing truck, rail, and international shipments, ensuring clear communication between shippers and carriers, and providing problem-solving and order management for customers. The position offers a pay rate of $20.50 per hour plus a $1.50 shift premium, with eligibility for monthly attendance bonuses for full-time employees. Requirements

• Strong computer skills to include MS Outlook & Excel familiarity
• Outbound Dock Experience
• Production, Warehouse, General Labor experience
• Communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually

Nice To Haves

• 6 months – 1 year warehouse or logistics experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Responsibilities

• Coordinate truck, rail, and international shipments.
• Provide communication to both shippers and carriers.
• Assist in coordinating and providing problem-solving and order management for customers.
• Assist in coordination of export/import shipments.
• Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments.
• Track and trace all shipments.
• Update and maintain Transportation Management System(s) – SAP.
• Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports.
• Obtain data to assist in analysis on performance trends.
• Proactively identify problems to management.
• Answer and resolve basic billing questions when needed.
• Prepare client invoice packets.
• Confirm rates with carriers.
