About The Position

Apogee is hiring a Logistics Operations Analyst-Junior to support US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) SMPES program activities. The role provides Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) accountability and inventory management, software license and renewal coordination, development and sustainment delivery and record tracking, secure media handling, and equipment procurement support. This is a full-time, on-site position at Offutt AFB, Nebraska, with no travel.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must possess and maintain a TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, with either a minimum of four years of experience in the respective technical or professional discipline, or eight years of directly related experience with proper certification.
• Experience in Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) accountability and inventory management.
• Experience with software license requirements, acquisition, and renewal coordination.
• Experience with classified media creation, marking, storage, and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions with the Program Management Office and Government support contractors about resource use, GFE control and management, development software strategy, Agile product production, and future Cloud deployment opportunities.
• Maintain development enterprise GFE and software inventories.
• Track hardware and software maintenance contracts and monitor contract statutes for accuracy and compliance.
• Design processes and products to accelerate inventory completion and reduce equipment redundancy.
• Meet with industry representatives about Cloud strategy and present results to the lead program engineer.
• Manage the removable media kiosk system and advise managers on safe media transfers using portable media, DoD SAFE, and CENTRIXS.
• Assist integrated product teams (IPTs) with hardware and software acquisition.
• Support acquisition of assets needed to expand the system to other sites, emphasizing electronic product delivery over courier or delivery services to save time and reduce costs.
• Support IPTs in performing hardware and software asset management processes.
