About The Position

Pentair is hiring a Logistics Material Handler to support manufacturing and production of Pentair Pool Products at its Moorpark, California facility. The role supports the production team by moving materials and finished goods throughout the facility. The handler documents and handles parts, rotates on the production line as needed, packs small components, and performs general labor and varied production operations. The schedule is first shift, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime required as needed. Pay is $21.00 per hour, with an opportunity for a rate increase after proficiency in certain skills and completion of training. Actual pay may vary based on achievements, skills, and experience.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and understand written, visual, and oral instructions.
• Ability to perform fine hand manipulation.
• Ability to use RF scanners for transfers on SAP.
• Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in a production and/or assembly position.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to stand, walk, twist at the waist, and lift and lower weights.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Steel-toed footwear is required.

Responsibilities

• Correctly document and handle parts.

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
