About The Position

Phillips Pet Food & Supplies is hiring a full-time Material Handler for its first shift. The role supports warehouse operations by selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment in a clean, safety-focused environment. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., at $19.00 per hour.

The Material Handler selects bulk-bag and full-case orders throughout the distribution center, builds pallets, and transports completed pallets to the loading dock for truck loading. The position also involves safely operating warehouse equipment, following company safety policies and PPE requirements, identifying and communicating hazards, and performing additional warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a five-year background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Dependable and safety-conscious, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as order pickers, pallet jacks, or cherry pickers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use an order selector to pick bulk-bag and full-case customer orders throughout the distribution center.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including order pickers and pallet jacks.
• Build pallets accurately and efficiently for outbound shipments.
• Transport completed pallets to the loading dock for truck loading.
• Follow company safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Participate in safety programs and proactively identify and communicate potential hazards.
• Support warehouse operations with additional duties as needed.
