About The Position

The Logistics Manager is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and execution of all logistical functions supporting organ recovery services. This position ensures that transportation, equipment, personnel, and recovered organs are managed in accordance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and established operational standards. The role requires precise coordination, adherence to time‑critical processes, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in medical logistics, aviation logistics, transplant operations, or related time‑sensitive operational environments.
• Demonstrated understanding of chain‑of‑custody principles and critical‑care transport logistics.
• Ability to work in a complex, 24/7 operational setting with rotating on‑call responsibilities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with dispatch systems, tracking software, and standard office applications.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs), transplant centers, or organ‑recovery service providers.
• Familiarity with OPTN/UNOS policies and organ‑transport regulatory requirements.
• Supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, logistics, operations management, or a related field.
