About The Position

The Contractor shall be able to advise, perform and or lead logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, evaluating, and executing the logistical actions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or other designated program. The individual shall be capable of supporting and executing the following requirements: Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team. Capable of leading and completing complex projects. Capable of identifying critical logistics requirements (e.g., funding, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services) needed to support the assigned effort. Capable of planning, advising, and aligning logistics requirements with applicable policy, procedures, and guidance. Capable of implementing and aligning logistics requirements as part of an IPT. Capable of developing and advising on alternative courses of actions to adjust to funding, requirements, and schedule adjustments. Capable of ensuring Asset Management and Material Accountability are compliant with applicable policies, procedures, and guidance. Capable of supporting or leading a supply chain risk management working group and supply chain assurance are compliant with applicable policies, procedures, and guidance. Capable of accomplishing a Logistics Health Assessment. Capable of supporting or leading the development or update to a Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP). Capable of tailoring product support and logistics documentation for ACAT III and non-ACAT efforts to the minimum essential scope. Capable of implementing and managing a Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) program. Familiarity with defense acquisition management in accordance with the DoD 5000 series AAF. Familiarity with the Product Support Business Case Analysis. Familiarity with the logistics integrated product support model outlined in the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook. Knowledge of the twelve (12) product support elements outlined in the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook. Knowledge of agency program planning, funding, and management information systems. Knowledge of the acquisition Integrated Product Support functional makeup and interdependencies involved in providing logistical support. Proficient Microsoft office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project). TS/SCI Clearance required
