About The Position

Souter Limestone and Minerals, LLC is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee scheduling, dispatch, and customer-facing operations across our Fine Grind and Legacy product lines. This role also carries direct responsibility for managing the scale house. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable balancing day-to-day dispatch work with sales support.

Requirements

• Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, scheduling, or a related field preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer/scheduling software proficiency
• Availability to assist with weekend shipping as needed
• Successfully pass an initial background check, reference check, drug screen tests, and a final stage background check.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and dispatch of fine grind loads
• Customer service for fine grind
• Sales support for fine grind
• Assistance/scheduling with weekend fine grind ticketing
• Additional help as needed for fine grind
• Scheduling and dispatch of legacy loads
• Management of the scale house
• Sales of orders less than 5,000 tons
• Additional help as needed for legacy
• Managing the scale house
