About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Logistics Manager for our client in Houston, TX. This role involves managing customer orders, deliveries, inventory, and overall logistics operations. The position offers a temp-to-perm opportunity with a competitive salary and standard business hours.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of logistics experience
- Experience managing railroad and trucking carriers required
- SAP and ERP experience required
- Supply chain, materials management, and purchasing experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Nice To Haves
- Marine logistics experience preferred
- Ability to travel 1–2 times per year
- French language skills
- Veteran status
Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders, deliveries, inventory, and logistics using SAP
- Coordinate trucking, rail, bulk shipping, and ISO container transportation
- Manage carriers and vendors while coordinating product movement
- Work with domestic and international teams, including the French headquarters
- Assist with purchasing, billing, and other office functions as needed
