Requirements

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, business administration, or a related field
7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, procurement, or materials management, preferably in manufacturing
3+ years of management or supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing, inventory management, material planning, shipping, receiving, and transportation
Experience negotiating supplier pricing, contracts, lead times, and commercial terms
Strong understanding of inventory planning and production requirements
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test

Nice To Haves

Experience with freight and carrier management
Experience with domestic and international shipping
Experience with ERP/MRP and warehouse management systems
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

Serve as the driving force behind the movement of materials throughout the organization.
Coordinate with suppliers and review inventory levels to ensure production remains fully supported.
Negotiate purchasing agreements.
Evaluate vendor performance.
Resolve supply chain challenges before they impact operations.
Partner closely with production teams to forecast material needs.
Oversee shipping and receiving activities.
Manage inventory controls and cycle counts.
Monitor purchasing and logistics costs.
Develop contingency plans to reduce supply chain risk.
