Requirements

Track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites.

Responsibilities

Establishing work plans and scheduling for assigned areas that will achieve goals for internal schedules, program deliveries, and product quality.
Supervising the day-to-day activities of the associates in Material Stores, Shipping, and Receiving.
Possessing a working knowledge of freight shipping options, bill of lading (BOL), etc.
Understanding and upholding security requirements pertinent to assigned areas of responsibility.
Developing and fostering a mindset that focuses on continuous improvement activities, root cause investigation, and countermeasure development.
Working with the Operations Manager on the operations budgets and being accountable for meeting the established budget for applicable areas.
Ensuring all tools and equipment used in Receiving/Shipping/Material Stores areas meet safety standards and are maintained accordingly.
Maintaining area productivity goals and overseeing the processes to keep them on track to meet or exceed the goals.
Supporting an open environment for cost reduction opportunities within the area.
Supporting the Operations group and its objectives, including the development and implementation of development and cross-training plans.
Monitoring resources regularly in order to prevent budget overruns and schedule delays.
Providing regular feedback to the operations manager regarding problems and progress.
Participating in shipping meetings and providing the status of shipments, ensuring the movement of items through the shipping process.
Performing other duties as assigned.
