The Logistics Manager is responsible for providing leadership and direction for three critical areas of the store: the Freight Team, Stocking Team, and Warehouse Team. This role involves overseeing Warehouse Team activities such as daytime receiving, yard operations, return to vendor programs, pick pack and ship, and managing the store’s backroom. The manager also oversees Freight Team activities including receiving deliveries, staging incoming deliveries, splitting trucks, and stocking. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the Stocking Team to ensure products are stocked to correct planogram locations and presented according to standard, including managing back stock. The Logistics Manager will work with human resources to staff logistics areas with qualified Team Leads and Team Members, and is responsible for teaching, training, coaching, developing, and mentoring the team for consistent execution. The position also requires positive promotion of Fleet Farm's customer loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.
