About The Position

Busch Vacuum Solutions is seeking a Logistics Manager for a direct hire opportunity at their headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Logistics Manager will lead warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of materials and products. This role focuses on driving operational excellence through strategic planning, team leadership, process optimization, and continuous improvement, while upholding high standards for safety, inventory accuracy, and customer service. This is a full-time, onsite position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with flexibility to support business needs. Requirements

7+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, distribution, or supply chain management: Required
4+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in logistics or warehouse operations: Required
Experience leading warehouse operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment: Required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel: Required
Experience with inventory management systems and logistics software: Required
Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check
Willingness to travel domestically for training
Valid Drivers’ License must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standards
Employment with Busch Vacuum Solutions requires current work authorization in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field: Preferred
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems: Preferred
Experience implementing process improvements, warehouse technology, or automation initiatives: Preferred

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution activities
Develop and implement logistics strategies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels
Lead, coach, and develop Warehouse Supervisors and warehouse personnel to maximize productivity and engagement
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to improve operational performance
Ensure inventory accuracy through effective inventory control and replenishment practices
Collaborate with purchasing, production, customer service, and other internal stakeholders to support business objectives
Manage shipping and transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
Foster a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and regulatory standards
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, Lean methodologies, and best practices
Manage relationships with transportation providers, vendors, and third-party logistics partners
Support and optimize ERP and logistics technology solutions, including SAP and inventory management systems
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for team members
