About The Position

The Logistics Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the entire logistics and supply chain operations within the automotive manufacturing sector. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of automotive parts and finished products both domestically and internationally. The role requires strategic planning and execution of warehousing, transportation, and reverse logistics processes to meet production schedules and customer demands. The Logistics Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, production, and sales to streamline operations and reduce costs. Ultimately, this role aims to enhance supply chain reliability, improve service levels, and support the company’s growth objectives in the competitive automotive industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management within the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in SAP and warehouse management systems.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and supply chain processes.
• Experience managing international shipping and customs compliance.
• Automotive industry knowledge and parts expertise.
• Logistics management and warehousing skills.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all logistics activities including warehousing, transportation, and distribution of automotive parts and finished goods.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with production schedules and customer requirements.
• Oversee international shipping operations ensuring compliance with customs regulations and timely delivery.
• Utilize SAP and other logistics management systems to monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and generate performance reports.
• Lead reverse logistics processes to efficiently handle returns, repairs, and recycling of automotive components.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with safety standards and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
