About The Position

This position will build upon foundational support and will assume greater independence in coordinating logistics activities. In this role, you will independently manage transportation logistics for equipment, supplies, and materials, ensuring timely and efficient deployment. This mid-level position requires a higher level of expertise and experience in logistics management to ensure the efficient and effective distribution of equipment, supplies, and materials to support agency operations. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics management, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check & drug test.
  • Authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift over 50lbs.
  • Valid Drivers License with good driving history.
  • Ability to learn to operate a forklift and electric pallet jack through USCP provided training required.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to operate a forklift and electric pallet jack.
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Experience working in a federal government or law enforcement agency.
  • Knowledge of federal regulations and guidelines related to logistics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast demand to optimize inventory and replenishment planning.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Conduct market research supporting procurement decisions.
  • Prepare procurement requests and travel documentation.
  • Maintain equipment receipt, issue, and disposition records.
  • Coordinate transportation of equipment, supplies, and materials.
  • Drive Class C vehicles supporting mission requirements.
  • Lead inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Conduct logistics audits ensuring policy compliance.
  • Analyze logistics data and recommend operational improvements.
