About The Position

The Logistics Lead oversees domestic logistics operations across North America to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of materials. This role manages over-the-road transportation activities, supplier performance, and logistics processes supporting manufacturing and customer demand. The position drives operational consistency, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement through cross‑functional collaboration and performance oversight.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation operations or an equivalent logistics environment.
Working knowledge of U.S. Department of Transportation rules and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency with logistics-related systems and general computer applications.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support vendor and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting or leading logistics teams across multiple sites or regions.
Demonstrated experience managing freight spend and transportation contracts.
Background in continuous improvement or process optimization initiatives.
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial supply chain environment.

Responsibilities

Manage domestic over-the-road logistics operations, ensuring on-time delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
Oversee transportation subcontractors by evaluating performance, managing costs, and maintaining supplier agreements.
Develop, implement, and maintain logistics processes, procedures, and scheduling methods to optimize service and cost.
Monitor freight spend, performance metrics, systems, and staffing models to identify efficiency and optimization opportunities.
Partner cross-functionally with production, quality, procurement, and customer service to align logistics execution with business needs.
