About The Position

This position will lead, train and mentor new/existing employees through the direction of work and allocation of tasks in multiple functions within the Logistics Center (i.e. receiving, shipping, inventory control and/or slotting of Logistics Work Orders). Acts as a liaison for the Manager to employees while providing administrative and technical support. Utilizes a Warehouse Management system, TD SYNNEX programs and all necessary equipment to troubleshoot issues involving order and product flow and identify potential root causes. Positively supports continuous improvement initiatives (i.e. utilizing Lean Sigma techniques, updating SOP’s, developing & implementing solutions).

Requirements

  • Previous Work Experience: shipping, receiving and/or inventory control, integration work order flow, etc.
  • Internal candidates: Minimum of two (3) years high volume Logistics and/or Logistics Center warehouse experience warehouse experience.
  • Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Logistics functions such as SAP-WMS, SOP’s
  • External candidates: minimum of five (5) years high volume Logistics Center warehouse experience outlined above.
  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.
  • Demonstrates the ability to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.
  • Capable of building solid, effective working relationships with others

  • Works constructively under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Delegate tasks across teams (e.g., receiving, put-away, picking, packing, slotting) within the Logistics Center.
  • Adapt to workflow needs by rotating self and staff across functions.
  • Provide technical support and communicate across all levels.
  • Act as a manager’s extension, offering performance feedback.
  • Serve as a knowledge resource, answering questions and resolving issues.
  • Use Warehouse Management System to manage workflow efficiently.
  • Train and mentor employees as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Operate material handling equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Sigma, Kaizen, ISO).
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Preform additional duties as assigned.
  • Meet attendance and punctuality standards.
