About The Position

The Logistics Lead is responsible for supporting day-to-day logistics and transportation operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time delivery of products to customers. This role works cross-functionally with Sales, Production, Quality, Material Handling, and external transportation partners (truck, rail, and barge) to optimize transportation performance, control costs, and maintain high service standards. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, or freight coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or similar platforms.
Authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
