About The Position

Chartis Federal is seeking Logistics & Inventory Analysts to provide supply chain, logistics, and inventory management support for U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s mobile surveillance system sustainment program, coordinating parts, property accountability, and reporting to keep field maintenance operations running. This role manages service requests, work orders, and Government property records in ILSS/Maximo, coordinates spares with the FAA Logistics Center and other depot facilities, and supports data-driven decision-making through performance metrics, trend analysis, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory/asset management, developing and monitoring performance metrics, conducting data analysis, and implementing process improvements (5 years required if no degree is held)
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Forklift Operator certification (current, or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire, dependent on assigned location)
  • U.S. citizenship required; Lawful Permanent Resident status is not accepted for this contract
  • Must satisfy CBP pre-screening requirements (no felony conviction within the past 36 months; no illegal drug use within the past 12 months) and obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 4 (T4) or Tier 5 (T5) background investigation
  • Must complete DHS IT Security Awareness Training and Privacy Training, and sign the DHS Rules of Behavior, within 30 days of assignment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ILSS/Maximo or comparable logistics/inventory management systems in a federal environment
  • Experience supporting DHS, CBP, or other federal supply chain and logistics operations
  • Experience coordinating with depot repair facilities (e.g., FAA Logistics Center)
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, dashboards, KPI tracking)

Responsibilities

  • Open and close Service Requests (SRs) and Work Orders (WOs) in ILSS in coordination with the local Field Technology Office
  • Enter, maintain, and track Government property and GFE/GFP records in ILSS (Maximo or successor system)
  • Maintain and reconcile assigned inventory, both systems under repair and local spare parts; perform storeroom inventory every two months
  • Order and track spares in coordination with the FAA Logistics Center or other depot repair facility; create Purchase Requests as needed
  • Coordinate material shipping and receiving with the COR and Inventory Manager between depot and local sites
  • Analyze, interpret, and present performance metrics, trends, and reports to support decision-making
  • Monitor ILSS daily for data quality and consistency, working with the field to resolve discrepancies
  • Track depot-level repair status and usage of expendable/consumable items
  • Support inventory management by documenting maintenance actions and coordinating shipping/receiving of assets
  • Draft reports, white papers, and briefings in support of enforcement technology equipment and services
  • Operate forklifts in support of supply chain sustainment activities (receiving and shipping parts)
