About The Position

The Logistics Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting transportation, warehousing, inventory management, data analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives. Working alongside logistics and supply chain professionals, the intern will assist with analyzing operational performance, improving reporting processes, developing carrier scorecards, and identifying opportunities to optimize efficiency across the supply chain. This role provides valuable exposure to transportation management, inventory control, warehousing operations, sustainability initiatives, and data-driven decision-making within a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship experience or relevant coursework in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Business, or a related field.
• Experience analyzing data and developing reports or dashboards.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Interest in logistics optimization, transportation management, and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze logistics data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for operational improvement.
• Assist in the design and development of reporting processes to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support the development and implementation of logistics strategies that optimize supply chain performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Prepare reports and presentations on logistics performance metrics and assist in the development of carrier scorecards.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on enhancing operational efficiency and service performance.
• Assist with coordinating shipments and tracking deliveries to ensure timely customer fulfillment.
• Support special projects and other logistics-related initiatives as assigned.
• Support the implementation of sustainable logistics practices.
• Analyze the environmental impact of logistics operations and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability objectives into logistics strategies and operations.
