About The Position

Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Logistics Engineering Intern based in our Middletown, PA facility for Fall 2026. This on-site, part-time position will begin in August 2026 and requires the ideal candidate to be located within the general area. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, Global Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Junior or Senior standing at an accredited college or university.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Genuine interest in logistics, engineering, and supply chain operations with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-oriented approach and ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, ongoing basis. The company does not provide immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Exposure to Access, Tableau, or data analysis tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform time studies and analyze operational data to improve distribution center efficiency and productivity.
  • Support slotting and storage optimization initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.
  • Assist with Smart Factory and warehouse automation projects.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and Kaizen activities focused on reducing waste and improving processes.
  • Manage service and service sales orders to support same-day shipment execution when inventory is available.
  • Research and respond to customer requests while supporting daily logistics operations.
  • Analyze shipping and inventory data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations, logistics teams, and other supply chain functions to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Follow established operating procedures and service level agreements to ensure operational excellence.
  • Support logistics engineering projects and other departmental initiatives as needed.
