About The Position

Peraton is seeking a motivated Logistics Engineer to join their team on the Camp Parks Communications Annex (CPCA) program in Dublin, CA. The CPCA mission is to manage all site-associated ground systems in support of its activities involving radiometry and telemetry, providing on-orbit testing for U.S. wideband satellite programs. The role involves generating, managing, and executing modifications to equipment to meet evolving mission requirements.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree and two (2+) years of experience Logistics or Standard Base Supply experience or Associates Degree and four years of related/relevant experience, in lieu of degree High School Diploma and 7 years of related/relevant experience.
  • An active/current or the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds unassisted.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and Excel.
  • Ability to perform work on an elevated platform
  • Must be able to climb stairs.
  • Must be able to pass the background check and drug screening.
  • Must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Provides logistic engineering to field organizations and/or customers including spare or replacement parts and supplies.
  • Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment.
  • Establishes calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks.
  • Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers.
  • Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy.
  • Assists in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support.
  • Plans and contributes to proposal efforts.
  • Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product.
  • Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of subcontractors, production departments, and field service personnel to ensure meeting of contractual commitments.
  • Compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistics activities.
  • Determines logistic support sequences and time phasing, problems arising from location of operational area, and other factors, such as environmental and human factors affecting personnel.
  • Performing/supporting Site additional duty and cross-training initiatives to enhance mission support capabilities.
  • Supporting site inspections activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance requirements are maintained as described in the Performance Work Statement, site specific Occupational Safety and Health Administration publications, and local/state policies/regulations.
  • Support Peraton growth opportunities; Request for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and Subject Matter Expert (SME) data calls.
  • Support the Program Manager to ensure compliance with PWS/Task Order requirements associated with deliverables, and performance standards.
  • Support the Program Manager to ensure a collaborative relationship is maintained with our government customer.
