About The Position

AYR Wellness is seeking a part-time Logistics Driver to make safe and secure deliveries of AYR products in a company vehicle to AYR locations and wholesale customers throughout the state. The role is part of the AYR Wellness Logistics Team and reports to the Logistics Manager. The driver is responsible for vehicle safety and upkeep, delivery documentation and payment handling, and may assist Packaging or Fulfilment during downtime. The position may involve travel between dispensaries and manufacturing facilities and exposure to dust, kief, cleaning chemicals, and fumes.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
At least 25 years of age and six years of satisfactory driving history, as required by driving and insurance requirements.
Meet age requirements set by state cannabis agencies.
Pass background checks and fingerprinting required by state cannabis agencies.
Provide valid badging or credentials required by state cannabis agencies.
High school diploma or GED.
One to three years of delivery or courier experience.
Dependable, professional, and confident; able to follow instructions and respond to management direction.

Responsibilities

Make secure, monitored deliveries from the cultivation facility to AYR dispensaries and other customer locations.
Follow safety practices when driving company vehicles.
Inspect delivery vehicles before deliveries and ensure they are safe to operate.
Ensure vehicle inspection stickers and registration paperwork are current and present in delivery vehicles.
Take vehicles for repairs and maintenance, including brake work, tire replacement, oil changes, wiper replacement, and inspections.
Maintain vehicles to operational standards, including vacuuming and washing them.
Maintain at least half a tank of fuel and ensure vehicles are fueled for the next day.
Understand state highways and roads and use road maps as needed.
Learn MJ and Leaf Logics programs to understand delivery manifests.
Handle customer payment checks safely and securely during deliveries.
Report to Packaging or Fulfilment for assignments during downtime.
Participate in additional projects and priorities as needed.
Help foster a positive work environment by treating others with dignity and respect and maintaining curiosity about the cannabis industry.
