About The Position

American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the Nation’s largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for Logistics Distribution Coordinator to assist our Distribution division in providing value-added goods and services to our customers. JELD-WEN is a leading global designer, manufacturer and distributor of high-performance interior and exterior doors, windows and related building products serving the new construction and repair and remodeling sectors.

Requirements

Solid customer service background
Answering a high volume of calls from Drivers, Customers, and Sales Team
Logistics or transportation experience
2+ years of basic computer skills, with ability to be trained on company software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive outgoing attitude
Self-motivated, goal-orientated, excellent work habits
Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Promote and maintain a TEAM atmosphere

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist in scheduling and coordinating job site deliveries and production order flow, ensuring safe and on-time pickup and delivery
Distribute and slot tickets as required
Provide customer service and support to customers via the phone and email, as well as will-call
Communicate customer service needs with drivers, sales, and operations
Update scheduling database with ticket details
