A Logistics Analyst is responsible for the coordination and oversight of drivers, trucks, and containers to create capacity, maximize productivity and ensure prompt, courteous and efficient service to all customers. Additional responsibilities include the oversight of safety, customer experience, and productivity. The role involves analyzing daily route information, implementing changes to routing for efficiency, and responding to same-day changes or next-day planning for customer service needs. The dispatcher will also manage driver safety, evaluate logistics data, maintain communication with drivers, and address performance issues. They will be responsible for creating routes with maximized capacity, monitoring daily routing activities, and assessing the need for swing routes. The ability to anticipate and adjust plans throughout the day is crucial, as is understanding daily disposal plans and determining if service requests can be pulled forward to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
