About The Position

This role serves as a crucial link between customers and Global Business Services (GBS), ensuring proper support for the sale of finished goods. The specialist will fulfill customer and market requirements by assisting with inquiries, coordinating shipments, maintaining strong working relationships, monitoring new product developments, and minimizing write-offs. The position also supports all transport coordination and logistics activities in accordance with company requirements, processes, and policies.

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in economics or logistics.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience dealing with clients in an export-oriented environment (international trade or planning). Experience in supply chain management is an added advantage.
  • Fluent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and practical experience working with SAP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a bridge between the factory and customers/GBS, as well as related internal and external departments, to address issues, clarify points, and ensure all parties are aware of priorities to meet market demands. Prevent Out of Stock situations and meet targeted Days of Inventory Outstanding (DIO) for each market.
  • Coordinate transport orders and logistics for all inbound and outbound shipments, communicating with transporters, suppliers, and other JTI companies. Create, process, and monitor transports using SAP TM. Review incoming invoices for transportation and additional costs, and manage blocked invoices.
  • Ensure clarity on all customer contract and shipping document requirements. Coordinate document preparation for each shipment with respective functions. Confirm with markets that tax stamps are available for production and ensure factory departments adhere to all tax stamp-related processes in line with market legislation.
  • Responsible for monthly and weekly transportation forecast planning. Support the optimization of logistics processes and participate in projects related to logistics excellence.
  • Take full accountability for safety measures to maintain ZERO LTI (Lost Time Injury) in the factory and perform tasks in a safe and good environment. Ensure full compliance with JTI Code of Conduct, EHS procedures, labor law, corporate guidelines, internal regulations, work performance instructions, ISO requirements, and 5S3R principles.
