About The Position

Spartan Logistics is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Fort Smith, AR. This role is vital in ensuring seamless shipping and receiving operations. The shift hours for this position are 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM Sunday through Tuesday and 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM every other Saturday. Spartan Logistics is a family-owned, third-party logistics (3PL) leader with locations across multiple states, known for its industry expertise, innovation, growth, and values-driven culture. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proven customer support experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Basic Excel knowledge.
• Advanced phone and email etiquette.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well under stress in a fast pace environment and communicate professionally.
• Experience using SAP and Excalibur is preferred.
• Experience in the transportation industry, preferred.
• Frequent standing and walking in an office environment.
• Ability to sit for long periods.
• All candidates must successfully complete a drug screening and background check as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Managing shipping and receiving processes with precision and attention to detail.
• Organizing and maintaining a well-structured office environment.
• Conducting physical inventories on a weekly and quarterly basis.
• Providing training and direction to employees when needed.
• Supporting internal projects and assisting with additional duties as assigned.
