About The Position

SyBridge Technologies is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support our manufacturing and distribution operations. This role is ideal for an individual with strong experience coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, working with carriers and suppliers, maintaining shipping documentation, and ensuring materials and finished products move efficiently between customers, suppliers, and SyBridge facilities. The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in supporting production schedules and customer commitments by coordinating transportation requirements, monitoring shipments, resolving logistics issues, and maintaining accurate records. This position works closely with production, purchasing, customer service, warehouse, and other internal teams to ensure shipments are completed safely, accurately, and on time. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, receiving, supply chain, or a related coordination role is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating freight with carriers, couriers, brokers, and freight forwarders.
  • Working knowledge of bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing documentation, and other shipping records.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to identify problems, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate timely resolutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to changing production and transportation requirements.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, automotive, tooling, or industrial environment is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of domestic and cross-border shipping processes and documentation is preferred.
  • Experience using ERP, MRP, transportation management, or shipping systems is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for raw materials, tooling, components, finished goods, and other company materials.
  • Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers, freight forwarders, couriers, suppliers, customers, and internal SyBridge locations.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, commercial invoices, customs documentation, certificates, and other required transportation records.
  • Ensure shipping documentation is accurate and complete prior to the movement of goods.
  • Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery and proactively communicate delays, changes, or transportation issues to appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with production and operations teams to prioritize shipments based on manufacturing schedules, customer requirements, and delivery commitments.
  • Coordinate expedited, emergency, and time-sensitive shipments when required to support production or customer needs.
  • Obtain freight quotations and assist with selecting appropriate transportation methods based on cost, timing, shipment size, and service requirements.
  • Communicate with carriers regarding shipment status, delivery appointments, freight claims, service issues, and transportation requirements.
  • Support cross-border shipments between Canada, the United States, Mexico, and other international locations, as required.
  • Work with customs brokers and freight providers to ensure appropriate documentation is available for import and export shipments.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems, spreadsheets, and tracking tools as required.
  • Assist with investigating and resolving shipping discrepancies, damaged freight, missed deliveries, incorrect documentation, and other logistics-related issues.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers regarding incoming material shipments and expected delivery dates.
  • Support customer service and program teams by providing accurate shipment and delivery information.
  • Review freight invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy and assist with resolving discrepancies as required.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical logistics records in accordance with company requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency, reduce freight costs, and improve shipment visibility and reliability.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment and comply with all applicable company policies, safety procedures, and transportation requirements.
  • Participate in required meetings, training, continuous improvement initiatives, and other departmental activities as requested.
