About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator reports to the LOGISTEED-America, Inc. Warehouse Manager. The successful candidate in this position will possess skills and experience which include knowledge of international logistics. This position requires an organized and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced warehouse operations environment, while exhibiting good written, verbal and PC skills, with good interactive skills with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate both orally and in writing with a clear and concise manner
  • Read and comprehend SOP’s, work instructions, email and documents; measure and count accurately; write legibly
  • Create and/or retrieve bill of ladings, shipping documents and labels
  • Arrange transport of local and regional shipments. Follow up with customer and vendors to ensure timely pick-ups and/or deliveries.
  • Ability to send and receive messages and documents to both internal and external customers
  • Compile, verify, record and process forms and documents within CargoWise, WMS and Windows OS
  • Ability to use the WMS to plan, allocate, and manage the daily orders in the system
  • Can accurately receive and ship material through the WMS
  • Build knowledge of department policies & procedures to improve efficiencies as well as timely and accurate results
  • Ability to set priorities and be able to multi-task with conflicting priorities
  • Ability to work flexible hours as business needs dictate
  • Provide administrative support to Manager and Supervisors
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager
  • Maintain a safe, secure, clean and orderly warehouse
  • Ensure area housekeeping requirements are met
  • Abide by all OSHA rules and LOGISTEED-America, Inc. safety practices
  • Meet established procedures and productivity, safety and quality standards
  • Meet attendance & punctuality standards
  • Ability to use radio to coordinate with team

  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment around moving powered industrial equipment, trucks, vehicles and pedestrians
  • Assisted in onboarding, training, and mentoring new team members
  • Participate in application of LUS policies and procedures including but not limited Attendance and Punctuality policy, progressive corrective action, and other.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor
  • Must be able to read, write and count
  • Ability to work independently and in support of the team
  • Ability to review work area and determine requirements.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ability to travel if needed for business necessity
  • Should be available on a rotating basis for holiday, night and weekend shifts to meet required customer/business needs.
  • Work independently as well as professionally with all support team members, customers and service providers
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Lead Supervisor or Manager
