About The Position

Bedrock Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator / Operations Specialist to support daily transportation, fulfillment, and operational activities. This role is critical to ensuring efficient load planning, carrier coordination, shipment tracking, and overall service excellence for our clients. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, has strong communication skills, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations
Strong understanding of freight brokerage, dispatching, or carrier management preferred
Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Nice To Haves

Strong understanding of freight brokerage, dispatching, or carrier management preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule freight shipments with carriers, brokers, and internal teams
Track and monitor loads to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
Communicate proactively with customers and carriers regarding shipment status, delays, and issue resolution
Prepare and manage shipping documentation, BOLs, invoices, and rate confirmations
Maintain accurate records in TMS and internal systems
Assist with load planning and capacity management
Identify and resolve operational challenges quickly and efficiently
Support financial processes including freight audits and invoice verification
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve operational workflows and service performance
Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and safety standards
