About The Position

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations for Veramaris and supporting overall site logistics activities. The Logistics Coordinator will serve as the primary contact for operations inquiries related to domestic and global shipments. The position involves coordinating transportation scheduling, SAP delivery creation, and shipment execution to ensure timely deliveries. Additionally, the role requires managing day-to-day relationships with carriers, third-party warehouses, and packaging vendors, as well as coordinating packaging and railcar schedules to support production and packaging operations. The role also supports operational functions including subcontracting POs, invoicing, packaging supply management, and month-end activities. Customer service support, including order creation, freight quotes, warehouse shipments, and invoicing processes, is a key part of this position. The coordinator must ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality of logistics documentation, inventory records, and shipping processes. Responsibilities also include resolving shipping, invoicing, and inventory discrepancies while supporting supply chain process improvements. The role provides backup support to supply chain leadership and contributes to logistics projects, team collaboration, and compliance with safety and operational policies.

Requirements

A minimum of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; Logistics or Supply Chain preferred
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Strong customer service, communication, and professional interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Adaptable to repetitive tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable, positive, and able to maintain professionalism in all interactions.

Previous inventory or warehouse experience preferred.
