Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe PDF
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both verbally and in writing
Must be accurate, thorough and neat
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Knowledge of International shipping logistics is required
High School degree required

Nice To Haves

Experience with UPS World ship and FedEx Ship Manager a plus
Working knowledge OzLink quote system and Descartes Customs application is desired
Experience with drop shipping from domestic and international sources is desired
business school or college degree preferred

Responsibilities

Produce documentation, track shipments, and communicate with forwarders and customs brokers
Responsible for ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete with freight forwarders
Request quotes for all types of freight
Coordinate import and export (ocean/air) shipments; arrange LTL shipments
Coordinate weekly consolidations from our warehouse to key customers
Review, log and approve freight invoices
Follow-up and resolve International and domestic shipment issues
Conduct various analyses for logistics optimization and cost-savings efforts
Prepare and maintain various reports
Assist with additional duties as assigned
