About The Position

This role is part of Weyerhaeuser’s Supply Chain organization and supports the transportation of Wood Products inventory. Based in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and reporting to the Director of Logistics, the Logistics Coordinator partners with production, sales, and transportation providers to ensure reliable, timely shipment execution that meets customer and operational standards. At Weyerhaeuser, we prioritize safety, sustainability, and operational excellence in everything we do. In this role, you will build strong relationships across customer service, manufacturing, sales, and supplier teams while coordinating daily transportation activities and resolving shipment issues. The position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to improve processes to drive efficiency and service performance. Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of supply chain operations
  • Demonstrated adaptability and ability to manage changing priorities
  • Growth mindset with a focus on continuous learning and improvement
  • 2-year degree
  • 2 years Wood Products or Transportation industry experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP (SAP), Power BI and transportation management systems (TMS) preferred
  • experience in manufacturing or building materials is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Promote a safe work environment; executing transportation activities that optimize cost, service, and efficiency
  • Manage end-to-end shipment execution, including carrier coordination, scheduling, and issue resolution
  • Communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate across customer service, mills, carriers, and vendors
  • Collaborate effectively as a team member to support shared goals and drive operational performance
  • Leverage systems and data to solve problems, maintain performance, and deliver on key metrics and take ownership of results
