About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the storage of finished goods, operating necessary equipment, routing, scheduling trucks, and tracking shipments to ensure they arrive on time. This role involves managing inventory transactions, organizing and distributing orders, and ensuring adherence to regulations. The position also entails responsibility for damages and losses due to improper resource management or negligence.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in logistics in manufacturing industry.
• Strong organizations and planning skills.
• Good computer skills – Proficient in Excel.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Logical reasoning skills.

Nice To Haves

• additional education and/or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for inventory transactions in Fenevision and the accuracy of said transactions.
• Scans orders into computer and tracks shipments.
• Organizes and distributes crate/stillage orders according to the production schedule and preparation prior to shipping.
• May include routing and scheduling trucks, tracking shipments to ensure they arrive on time and that shipment and delivery processes adhere to any pertinent regulations.
• Performs other activities as instructed by Supervisors or in the absence of the Supervisor.
• Is responsible for damages and losses caused by improper management of available resources and for personally made decisions, their legal and economic consequences for the Company due to failure to perform tasks or negligence of their duties.
• Performs additional assignments per the Manager’s direction.
