About The Position
Premier Packaging is a fast-growing, forward-thinking provider for all packaging needs, from corrugated and warehouse solutions to design & engineering and packaging supplies. We are currently searching for a Logistics Coordinator who will assign & dispatch freight to Drivers, oversee routes, bill of ladings, and timelines for the Drivers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1 – 2 years as Dispatcher preferred
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Be 18 years of age or older
Responsibilities
- Aligns the day’s freight with available drivers.
- Dispatches individual drivers with assigned loads, routes, bill of ladings, and timelines.
- Freight scheduling
- Pick ticket and load tags
- Tracks individual driver hours available and log book activity
- Posts all bills of lading meeting the requirements and forwards all discrepant bills of lading to the Shipping Manager
- Daily communication with Drivers, customers and Management team
