About The Position

Coordinate shipments end-to-end, ensuring timely execution across cross-border and domestic lanes. Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, carriers, and agents to ensure smooth information flow. Prepare and send shipment pre-alerts, status updates, and client reports. Negotiate competitive rates with carriers while maintaining service quality and reliability. Monitor shipments closely, providing real-time updates and resolving delays or exceptions quickly. Issue and review Bills of Lading and shipping documentation with a high level of accuracy. Arrange pickups and coordinate with carriers to meet delivery timelines and customer requirements. Manage invoicing, approve payables, and reconcile costs in line with financial procedures. Track and follow up on Proofs of Delivery, ensuring timely file closure. Handle claims and shipment exceptions in accordance with company policies. Maintain accurate shipment records, customer data, and reporting tools. Identify issues proactively and implement practical solutions to support continuous improvement. Support additional operational tasks and priorities as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain, with a focus on land or transborder freight forwarding.
  • Experience coordinating and managing third-party logistics providers and carriers.
  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering reliable and responsive service.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in documentation and day-to-day operational tasks.
