About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator / Logistics Specialist is responsible for end-to-end logistics, materials management, vendor coordination, and storage yard operations on project sites. This role ensures the timely availability of materials and equipment, strict adherence to safety, cost control, KPI performance, and seamless coordination with clients, vendors, and internal teams. The position involves managing project logistics functions for inbound and outbound shipments, developing and managing materials-related responsibilities between various groups including Procurement, Expediting, Data Interface, Project Management, Client requirements, Partner (JV) requirements, and Sub-Contractors. This role requires interfacing and communicating with project and home office management, reporting staff, project crafts, expediting, and support services. The specialist will maintain OS&D (Over Short or Damage) and MSO (Miscellaneous Shipping Order) documentations and logs. Additionally, they will be responsible for the PM (Preventive Maintenance) tracking system and the issuance/entry of work orders for inventory equipment requiring PM. Craft PM Staff may be assigned to the Materials Manager if directed by Project Management. The role involves coordinating material and equipment management efforts with Suppliers, Construction, Procurement (Expediting, Logistics, etc.), and Suppliers. The Logistics Coordinator will manage the material management team in day-to-day operations, systems, and procedures, and develop and distribute reports for internal and external recipients.
